What is CrossFit?
CrossFit training is functional movements done at high intensities.
This program is for anyone wanting to take it to the next level, get in shape or would just like to switch up their routines. It includes all modalities of training (incorporates a variety of weightlifting, calisthenics, and cardiovascular exercises) and each and every component of the workouts can be modified and scaled to accommodate your fitness level or physical limitations.
Classes typically consist of a 15 to 20-minute group warm up, a 20-minute strength session, and finally, a 5 to 15-minute workout of the day, A.K.A. the WOD. A Workout of the Day (WOD) combines strength training and cardiovascular conditioning by using both body weight and weighted exercises performed either for time or for the task.
