Camp - Culinary 3

Culinary Camp

Entering 3rd - 6th Grades | Maximum Enrollment: 15
4 Weekly Sessions | 9am - 4pm M-F
Early Care: 7-9am | Late Care: 4-6pm

Experience the world through cooking! Each week we will learn about and cook favorite foods from different countries. Culinary Campers will participate in Culinary activities in the morning, and J Camp activities in the afternoon. Led by the Kansas City Kansas Community College Culinary Chefs, campers will learn new skills in the kitchen and then enjoy tasting the results. (Vaad Supervised) Campers will take recipes home at the end of the week to share with their family.

Taste of Italy

Week 4: June 25-29

Learn to cook homemade pasta, sauces, pizza, and classic Italian desserts.

Israeli Delicasies

Week 6: July 9-13

Cookies, kugel, hummus, falafel, desserts and more! We will try out fun Israeli recipes.

Asian Cooking

Week 7: July 16-20

Stir fry, noodles, sushi and sweet desserts, are just a few of the foods we will try out from Asia.

European Delights

Week 8: July 23-27

We will try French, German, Scandinavian pastries, and other traditional recipes.

Cost per week:

Full Time: $428 | $283 with Member Discount
Early & Late Care: $16 each per day | $8 each per day with Member Discount
