Explore exotic locations and marvelous people. Hear from the bestselling author of Henna House, Nomi Eve about this story of the little-known world of Yemen’s Jewish community from the 1920s to its wholesale exodus to Israel in 1949 – 50. This coming of age story is woven with ritual and intrigue.

Stay afterward for:

  • Enjoy North African tea + sweets
  • A professional Henna demonstration - one lucky winner will be the canvas!

“This was a book I had to read twice: the first time to rush through quickly to find out what will ultimately happen to the characters, and the second time to slowly savor the descriptions of these marvelous, exotic people and locales. Nomi Eve captivated me.” -Author Maggie Anton
