CrossFit training is functional movements done at high intensities. It is important that you take the intensity level and define it for yourself based on your athletic and fitness levels.
This program is for anyone wanting to take it to the next level, get in shape or would just like to switch up their routines. It includes all modalities of training (Olympic weightlifting, gymnastics movements and metabolic conditioning) and can be scaled to meet an athletes needs.
CrossFit - CrossFit also known as “The Sport of Fitness” includes a Workout of the Day (W.O.D.) that combines strength training and cardiovascular conditioning by using both body weight and weighted exercises performed either for time or for task. CrossFit classes are for Mixed-level athletes that have experience with CrossFit style classes.
Teams of two, with one female and one male will compete in multiple WODs. Water, weight and more will be involved! Event will be capped at 32 teams, which will be split into multiple heats.
Registration fee is $170 for a team of two prior to August 31, 2015. Fee increases to $220 on September 1, 2015. Top three teams place with cash prizes and more.
