Exercise Punch Card


Purchase a 5, 10 or 20 punch card and utilize it for the Heritage Center exercise classes listed below. Just bring your punch card to class and the instructor will take care of the rest. Cards may be purchased at the JCC main reception desk or in the Heritage Center office.

Gentle Pilates

Pilates is an ordered series of exercises that help build flexibility, muscle strength and endurance. All floor work. Instructor: Susan Kivett; Cost: 1 punch per class

One Hour Total Fit

One Hour Total Fitness is a conditioning class working on muscle strength, endurance, balance and flexibility. Instructor: Christine Van Mol; Cost: 1 punch per class

Gentle Floor Yoga

Zumba Gold

Get to groovin’ at your own pace! Join this fun, easy to follow program that lets you move to the beat of your own speed. Invigorating dance-fitness class filled with a medley of dance styles including merengue, salsa, cha-cha, belly dance, tango, and more. Zumba Gold turns these dances into a fun workout that builds cardiovascular health by challenging the heart and working the muscles of the hips, legs, and arms with dance moves.  Instructor: Lynda Kuchta; Cost: 1 punch per class

Kinesis Class

Kinesis has an emphasis on controlled movements that help promote muscle strength, balance, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness. Instructor: Susan Kivett; Cost: 1 punch per class

Tai Chi

Gain freedom from potential falls using 24 movements to increase balance and flexibility. The class is easy to follow and beginners are not only welcomed, but encouraged to attend. Instructor: Vada Mae Eder;  Cost: 1 punch per class

Free Classes

Chair Yoga

Chair yoga includes stretching poses (asanas), breathwork (prana yama) and meditation for the purpose of promoting flexibility and mobility. Instructor: Robin Jaffe

Cardio Fitness

This low-impact class focuses on cardio, strength, flexibility and balance. Participants can sit or stand as exercises can be modified for all ages and abilities.

Visiting Nurse

Blood pressure readings are offered each month and glucose tests will be available in the odd month. The glucose test does require a 2 hour fast. Appointments not required. Please call or check the latest Prime Times for date and time.

Water Fit

This class is low-impact and great for those just getting started on an exercise routine. Participants must obtain a Heritage Center restricted membership card available at the main JCC reception desk. Instructor: Bonnie Pennington
