Community Partners

The J is a proud partner and supporter of the following:

Following the April 13, 2014 tragedy at the Jewish Community Campus and Village Shalom, a group of caring individuals decided that we, as a community, have the power to outshine and overcome such senseless acts of hate. SevenDays presents an opportunity for young and old to embrace diversity across races, religions and cultures. The SevenDays events promote understanding, and encourage kindness to "Make a Ripple to Change the World."

The J fully embraces and supports the values expressed by the Seven Days program.

The ongoing relationship and support by Saint Luke's Health System of the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City has resulted in a nationally recognized collaboration referred to as "Imagine Your Potential"... an initiative pursued by the two organizations to provide resources supporting a healthier community.

This effort has enabled the integration of risk assessment science, clinical methodologies, resource materials, best-trained staff, and innovative outcome-oriented programs and services. Representing a truly unique relationship with one of the nations premier healthcare providers, the Center has pursued the development of health management strategies benefitting our members and the general community through our Center for Health and Human Performance.

United Way’s goal is to create long-lasting changes by addressing the underlying causes of poverty, literacy, career readiness and well-being. United Way’s work is focused on the building blocks for a good life: helping children and youth achieve their potential, promoting financial stability and independence, and improving people’s health. As a United Way agency, The J receives funding for its programming. As a support organization, The J’s staff also take part in the United Way’s annual campaign.
