Learning modalities include prayer, meditation, changing, positive affirmation and guided imagery.

Jeff is best known as a learning and motivation specialist, having worked with teens and families most of his career. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist he has utilized the teachings of Positive Psychology to help each family member realign goals and support the family unit.
Starting with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health and LAPD, Department of Children Services, the Halcyon Center for Child Studies and the Institute for Motivational Development, he has served as the Clinical Director of special needs school, Program Director for a Mental Health hospital and is a member of the Council for Exceptional Children.
Svetlana has been serving our community as Jewish educator for more then twenty years. She worked as the Program Director for CAJE and the Hebrew School Director for the LJCC; taught Judaic studies at local congregations, and currently works as an instructor for the Heritage Center. Svetlana holds Master's degrees: in Science andin Judaic Studies. She studied with noted Jewish educators such as Rabbi Mordecai Gafni, Rabbi David Cooper, and Melinda Ribner, the close associate of Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach. For the past seven years, she has been teaching and researching the connection between spirituality and wellness and the healing modalities of Jewish tradition.
