"Bronze is an ancient metal which I believe to be strongly narrative...it lends itself to storytelling. My work in bronze began about three years ago after exclusively working in steel and stainless steel. I wanted to engage with the stories you will see told here using an ancient method of creating sculpture.
There is something marvelous about the process of creating a sculpture in bronze...the artist begins with the ancient clay of the earth and the calcified plaster of the ancient sea beds and creates a form with his hands. The model is then molded and cast in metal using the disappearing wax method of antiquity. The hand work is pleasant, sublime, thrilling...silent.
Listen carefully to the cold silence of these bronze pieces. They may speak to you. Feel free to touch them and read their lips."
